We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. We are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA and we are not claiming we fully meet it — saying where we actually are is more useful than a badge.
What we have done
- One H1 per page, then H2 per section and H3 beneath — navigable by heading
- 18px body text with generous line height and a capped line length
- Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function
- Underlined links in body copy — colour is never the only signal
- Colour contrast meeting WCAG AA for body text and interface elements
- Descriptive alt text on photographs
- Tap targets meeting the 44×44px minimum
- Every link, button and field reachable and operable by keyboard
- Reduced motion respected — animations disable if your system asks
- FAQ accordions use native HTML, so answers stay readable to assistive technology
- No auto-playing audio or video
