24/7 Emergency Response

About Dry Standard Restoration

We are a water damage restoration contractor working in Colorado Springs and El Paso County. We meter before we quote, we give you the readings, and we tell you when you do not need us.

  • IICRC-certified technicians
  • Work to the IICRC S500 standard
  • Licensed and insured
  • Colorado Springs and El Paso County

Who we are

A restoration contractor, not a lead generator

When you call the number on this site, you reach us. The crew that arrives is ours, the moisture readings are taken by our technicians, and the invoice comes from us.

We work to the IICRC S500 standard for water restoration and S520 for microbial remediation. That is not decoration — it is the difference between drying a building to a documented standard and putting fans in a room until it feels dry.

Credentials

What we are certified in, and why it matters more here

Colorado has no state licence or registration for mold remediators, and CDPHE does not regulate mold. There is no state credential to check, which makes IICRC certification and documented process more important in this market, not less.

Contractor licensing for permitted work runs through the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department — one authority covering all of El Paso County, which makes it easy to verify.

WRT

Water Damage Restoration Technician — the core water certification.

ASD

Applied Structural Drying — psychrometrics and drying to a dry standard.

AMRT

Applied Microbial Remediation — containment and mould protocol.

How we work

We meter before we quote

Scope and price come from moisture readings taken against unaffected material of the same type in the same building — not from a walk-around. You get the readings and the photographic record whether or not we do the reconstruction.

We will also tell you when you do not need us. A small, clean-water release caught within a day is often a fan and a dehumidifier, and we would rather say so than send a truck.

What we do not do

Work we refer out, and we are not paid for it

  • Plumbing repair — finding and fixing the failed pipe, sewer laterals, backwater valves
  • Roofing — including emergency repair after hail or wind
  • Wells and septic systems — pumps, tanks, treatment, pumping, repair or design
  • Structural and geotechnical engineering — foundation, soil movement, settlement
  • Public adjusting — we are not public adjusters and receive nothing from anyone who is

No referral fees, no kickbacks, no commission. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens.
