This site is owned and operated by Dry Standard Restoration, a water damage restoration contractor working in Colorado Springs and El Paso County.
We are not a lead generator, a directory or a referral service. When you call the number on this site, you reach us. The crew that arrives is ours, the moisture readings are taken by our technicians, and the invoice comes from us.
We do. Where a job needs a trade we do not practise, we say so and refer you out rather than quietly subcontracting it and marking it up.
Work we refer out: plumbing repair, roofing, wells and septic systems, structural and geotechnical engineering, and public adjusting. We are not paid for those referrals — no fees, no kickbacks, no commission. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens.
We are paid for restoration work, by you or by your insurer where your policy covers the loss. That is the whole model.
We do not sell your details to other contractors or lead brokers, take payment to appear on a preferred-vendor list, take payment from anyone to be recommended here, run advertising, or receive commission on anything mentioned in our content.
A large amount of what looks like local restoration content is published by lead generators who sell your call to whichever contractor is buying that day. You often cannot tell from the website. You should be able to tell, so we are telling you.
We are a restoration contractor, not licensed insurance advisers. We can tell you how claims usually work and how to document a loss. We cannot tell you what your policy covers — only your policy and your carrier can.

Every photograph of restoration work on this site is from a job we did. They are not stock images and they are not licensed from a library. We do not publish addresses or anything identifying a customer’s home.
